Join Kate Aspengren for a reading group discussion of Daphne du Maurier’s final novel, Rule Britannia. Published in 1972, the novel imagines a future in which the UK and the US have combined to form a single country. It will be helpful if you’ve read the book ahead of time, but no additional preparation is needed.  Bring your comments and questions for this lively, informal discussion. Maximum participants 15.

Kate Aspengren has been on the faculty of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she taught creative writing and literature, including a course on Daphne du Maurier. Her published plays include Flyer and BlueYonder. Her work has been produced throughout North America.
